SafeguardsRule.info is a free educational tool provided by Blue Light IT, LLC, a managed security provider based in Boca Raton, Florida. This notice explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we use it.

The self-assessment

Your answers to the compliance questions are processed in your browser to calculate your score. We do not need your answers on our servers to show your result.

When you request the full report

If you submit the form, we collect the details you enter: your firm name, work email, and any optional role, return volume, and state. We use this to deliver your report and, at most, to follow up once to offer help.

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not share it with other vendors.
• You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing us.

We keep the details you submit only as long as needed to deliver your report and the single follow-up, and we delete them within 24 months unless you become a client.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages get visited, how many people start and finish the self-assessment, and how many request the full report. Google Analytics sets cookies and uses a random identifier to tell visitors apart; it does not receive your name, your email, or your individual answers to the assessment questions, only the overall result level (one of four bands) so we can count outcomes. Google processes this data on our behalf. If you block cookies or use a content blocker, the site works exactly the same.
